Dear
readers!
I would
like to present you a trip to Wrocław and its beautiful area. As my classmates
mentioned, it'll be a travel that respects rules of ecotourism and responsible
travelling. Wrocław is the fourth
biggest city in Poland, and is known as a 'city of bridges' because of the
presence of countless bridges so that you can always cross the Oder river.

During the
first day you'll be able to visit Old Town with its breathtaking architecture
but also the modern side of the city.
The Main
Square is just ten minutes from the Train Station, which is one of the oldest
train stations in country as it was built in 1857, so it is advisable to go by
foot and observe the life of Wrocław and the fascinating combination of both
historic and modern buildings.
Main Station
Main Square
is one of the biggest squares in Europe and amazes with its stunning buildings
and atmosphere. It is a common place of
meetings, not only in various cafes or restaurants, but also outdoors where a
lot of events take place. In the centre of square you'll see a Town Hall - a
fine example of Gothic architecture.

The next
place of our trip is a Ostrów Tumski
("Cathedral Island") a beautiful island which is believed to
be the oldest part of the city. Home to various churches and bridges, one of
which is famous for padlocks the lovers place on it.

To acquaint
better with Polish culture we invite you to Piwnica Świdnica, which is located in the Main Square, where you can try Polish cuisine. It is the oldest restaurant in Europe as it was opened in 1273.
During the
second day we'd like to show you Wojsławice Arboretrum, a branch of the
botanical garden of Wrocław University. It is located 50 km from Wrocław and
you may travel by bus. The Arboretrum is a spacious big area of 62 ha where you
can relax and stroll in the presence of beautiful flowers, shrubs and trees.
On the last
day I'd like to present to you a place where I've been many times and always
found it very interesting as I haven't encountered it anywhere else. It is a Panorama of Battle of Racławice. It
is impressive relic nineteenth century
mass culture. It is a large painting which you can see in a round building,
that with various additions creates an unforgettable memory.

The last
